'How We Move in the Dry' is an upcoming exhibition by Balanggarra and Yolngu artist Molly Hunt, presented at Black Canoe this July.

The exhibition explores seasonal living in the East Kimberley, focusing on how ways of life shift as the land moves from wet to dry. It reflects on the practices and actions that emerge during this time — what we eat, how we hunt, how we move, and how we return to Country.

The Dry season becomes a time of activity, sustainability, and living more closely with the land — a time to return to Country and reconnect with ways of living grounded in knowledge and care.
